Day 1 of my fitness adventure

I decided to start a blog to help motivate me on my crazy fitness adventure. Life is crazy sometimes and it can get away from you. One day you could be the fittest you have ever been and then years later you wake up and realize you are not that fit anymore. You are not the same person you once were. I just realized that I am so tired of being exhausted, and sick all the time. I want to be healthier for me and for my little family. I want to be able to run, jump and play with my daughter, without being winded or not being able to keep up. Not to sound to cliche but today is the day I start a long adventure to a new me, new year new me. I want to be stronger than my strongest excuse, I want to be healthier, have more energy. I want to be a better me, I know it’s not always easy, but it’s always worth it. I actually became fed up with my unhealthy life style about a year and half ago. I got a gym membership and bought a bunch of gym clothes and shoes. I was set and I

was ready to change. But I lack motivation and time is not on my side. My schedule is crazy, but this time I am totally ready to take on this challenge. I failed at making time for myself and actually making it to the gym. This time I am making the time for the gym and making my lazy ass get up and go. Today is day one of a long crazy fitness adventure. I would like to thank you for coming along with me on this adventure. Today I went to the gym I made it. Yay me. I was shooting for an hour work out but lets be honest I am out of shape and I only lasted 40 minutes but hey to me that is an accomplishment. I have a goal of trying to get to 180 lbs, I am not going to tell you how much I am right now because I am highly embarrassed of it right now. It is the most I have ever weighed in my life and I am just not comfortable or ready to share it. But let us just say the goal is to lose 100 plus lbs. I have a few things to keep me on track and motivated on this adventure. I downloaded the myfitnesspal app to help me keep track of my calories and exercises and such. I also bought a me and my big ideas fitness happy planner to help keep me on track with going to the gym. If I write it down I will feel guilty about not making it happen.

This is my planner and here are some gym selfies ugh.

Everything I am wearing came from Torrid’s active-wear and I am wearing Adidas ultra boost sneakers. I put some quotes on my January’s calendar page to help motivate me.

My quote of the week is No body is perfect, this is a perfect quote to help motivate me through the week because I am not even close to perfect. Like I said today is the day I start my fitness journey again. No worries I got this NO MORE FREAKING EXCUSES.
